Now, The Sorrel Horse in Shotisham is the perfect example of a village pub. This is why I hold it has one of my favourite pubs to go to in the county. The food there is good old fashioned pub grub, nice, simple and classic. The building originates back to the 15th Century and has a thatched roof so there is a lot of features to the place that really gives it its charm.
One of my recommendations to do is for the afternoon/evening is to go up to Bawdsey Quay during the summer and then head to The Sorrel Horse for a drink in the hot sun as a refreshment or go for a meal.
